You need a valid email address to successfully register for JAMB this year as is was in previous years.

If you do not have one, go and open an account because you will be asked to provide your email address during the registration process.

I'll advise you open and use a Google Mail account (Gmail) for your registration. This will help you get other intended search results when you search for things on the Google Search engine and generally, Google is kind of handy.

3. Create a JAMB Profile

In registering for your JAMB in 2021, the very most important step is to create your Jamb profile.

This is very crucial, in fact, without their JAMB profile, no student can write an exam. Last year, NIN (National Identification Number) was used to register but that was last year. That’s no longer obtainable this year.

You’ll also use your Jamb profile to check your JAMB result online when the result comes out in a few weeks; admission status checks, admission letter printing, and accessing Jamb caps and so on.

You can register online by first creating your profile either through any of these three methods:

SMS/Text Message Method
Directly in Jamb website.
Using JAMB Android Application.
It is easy to create your JAMB profile. JAMB recommends that you create your profile by sending SMS to 55019. Continue reading for how to create your JAMB account using SMS Method.

4. Check JAMB Integrated Brochure & Syllabus System – IBASS

When you get to the accredited JAMB CBT Centre, you will be given a CD containing: e-brochure showing guidelines on admission detailing list of tertiary institutions and available programmes of study; syllabus (e-syllabus) for the examination, a step by step guide on completion of the application form, a video message from the Registrar of JAMB and a demo on how to use eight (8) keys for UTME examination without mouse.
